SID: Hello Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Tracy Leigh. Tracy was as messed up as you can get. Prostitute, she stripped for a living, she was a lesbian, she was into drugs alcohol, any perversion – she was into it. And she came to her senses, and she looked in the mirror and all of her beauty has faded from all of those years; and she had said a prayer to God. She hadn’t thought about God since she was a little child. She said a prayer to God, and as she’s about ready to take her life. Right at that prayer, there’s a knock at the door. Who was there Tracy?

TRACY: It was a pastor from a local church and a little boy, and they were inviting people to come see a movie: “The Sound of Distant Thunder.”

SID: The timing was pretty unique.

TRACY: Yeah, yeah; it was pretty supernatural.

SID: So you saw the movie?

TRACY: Yes, I did and that’s what I needed. I needed Jesus. I needed him back in my life. And all of the memories came flooding back because he always answered my prayers; and he always talked to me; and I had to ask him to come back into my life to save me.

SID: So you went home, and you told this guy that you were living with what happened and was he unhappy?

TRACY: He basically – said a prayer in ’71; thought he was saved going to heaven, could do whatever he wanted to do, and got very angry with me and…

SID: That night, what did he do to you?

TRACY: Well I had fallen so in love with God and had been fasting and praying and had gone through a marvelous deliverance; delivered of all the legions and all the demons and all of the stuff that had happened; and he got very angry, and he went out and he had got drunk, and he came home and he put his hand around my throat, and put me down on the sofa. And he said “Now you ready to go? Do you want to be with Jesus? I’m going to take you to him right now! You’re going.” And I couldn’t breathe, and blood was coming out of my mouth, and he was getting ready to kill me.

SID: Did he break your jawbone?

TRACY: Yes, but soon after that, he had said hang on a second; and I went to get up and he punched me, and he literally broke my face in half.

SID: And you screamed and a neighbor came in your defense, but here’s what I have to find out. So you got set free there, what happened to your drug addiction, your sexual perversion; your alcoholism? You had contracted hepatitis B and C, you had lung problems, you had liver problems; tell me about them.

TRACY: They’re gone.

SID: All gone?

TRACY: All gone. I’m healed. I am 100% healed.

SID: But wait, that hepatitis B and C – there is no healing for that.

TRACY: The great physician – Jesus is the healing for that.

SID: You’re married today?

TRACY: Yes, I am.

SID: How happily?

TRACY: Wonderfully, happily.

SID: And do you have desires for women now?

TRACY: No, I don’t. Satan tries to attack me with it, but you know there’s something that I do.

SID: What’s that?

TRACY: I agree quickly with my adversary while I’m in the way, according to scripture. I agree with him. I say “Oh yeah devil, yeah she is pretty. And you know before then I would really enjoy having company with her. But Jesus…” and I start worshipping and before you know it, in an instant that thought’s gone. See it’s just a thought that tries to rise itself above the knowledge of Christ. It’s just a thought. It’s not my thought, it’s his thought.

SID: Now you told me when you were having problems as a new believer, God told you to do something about the Psalms. What did he tell you?

TRACY: Well it was the broke face. I was laying in bed and my face was broken. This man was in jail and I said “Oh God, I love you, and I don’t know what to do.” And a lot of people think he’s going to come and say “Oh it’s ok baby.” But I heard this, and I don’t know if it was audible or not but I heard this. He said “Tracy, read me the Psalms. I love the Psalms.”

SID: Will you read one Psalm right now to God? But I believe that she’s also going to read it to you; do that right now, Tracy.

TRACY: “Have mercy upon me oh God, according to thy loving kindness, and according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly.” And that’s what he does in His blood; and that’s why you can be free from everything that the enemy tries to put on us. It says “Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.” That’s all you need is renewed. You’re not cast away. It says “cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.” And then it goes on to say “restore me and cleanse me of my blood guiltiness.” See I was guilty. I was guilty of denying God. You know sin is sin. We all sin and fall so short of the glory of God. But I was guilty and He washes me clean.

SID: Tracy, I have to ask you: Do you have eyes for anyone else sexually besides your husband?

TRACY: Oh no, oh no.

SID: Let me tell you something, if God could do that for Tracy, he can do it for you. Let me tell you this, you are as loved as any human. It’s a lie that says you’re not loved. You’re as loved as any human that has ever lived. This is your time to be real. Be real with God and watch him become real with you. I’ve got to say this again: the love you’ve been looking for in all the wrong places. Start looking in the right place. He has a name: Jesus. That’s the right place.
