NAIM: And this word is, the prophetic! And I believe that there is a new emergence, for a different ear. A different sound for what God is doing in the earth.

KYNAN: Wow!

HAKEEM: And so the Lord begin to really deal with me about this next emergence and about this changing. And we’re going to begin to see this next generation arise as we’re talking about millennials and even just those who are looking for fresh voices. Because I believe that there’s been those who have not been stewards, over the voice of God!

KYNAN: Oh, man!

NAIM: They have not stewarded revelation. They have not come. I mean and you’re starting to see where the people want to hear something new!

KYNAN: Mmm!

HAKEEM: Fresh voices that are on the horizon and its emergence that has something to say and the words that they’re going to release. Just like Jesus was in the wilderness.

KYNAN: Yeah.

HAKEEM: And He was fasting and He was hungry, in that moment; 40 days and 40 nights. He was hungry. He was hungry for something. What was He hungry for? He said that [laughs] you know that He was looking. He was listening, for the Father’s voice and what God was saying. He says, you know, that He was looking for a “rhema” word. And I believe that in this season that there are people that are hungry for a rhema!

KYNAN: Yeah! “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!” You know when we talk about this whole issue of millennials this is, you know this is one of those conversations –

HAKEEM: Yes.

NAIM: Yes.

KYNAN: That has been had across the church. People don’t know what to do with millennials! Do we hire them? Do we fire them? Do we block them? Do we lock them? We don’t know what to do with millennials. It reminds me of when we look at the wilderness experience.

NAIM: Uh-huh.

KYNAN: And you had Joshua and Caleb who were the remnants of the previous generation. And when they got to the end of the promised land most of the elders died.

NAIM: Right.
