It’s Supernatural

Sid: Hello, Sid Roth here with Bruce Van Natta. Bruce, you almost were guillotined in half when a truck smashed over you. You really shouldn’t have lived. You should’ve bled to death, medically speaking. They had to cut your small intestine. Eventually it got down to under 100 centimeters, which, medically speaking, means he would starve to death. He was a dead man. But a man heard God’s voice, and flew to Bruce, and prayed for him. Then what happened?

Bruce: As he was praying and saying “Lord, I pray that you answer all those prayers today”, I started feeling what I can describe as electricity come out of his palm, into my forehead. Then, as Jesus spoke to the mountain, he said “Small intestine, in the name of Jesus, I command you to grow supernaturally in length.” As soon as he said that, it felt like a snake came uncoiled inside my stomach. I turned to the man he was with and said “Man, it felt like a snake came uncoiled inside my stomach.”

Sid: How did they find out?

Bruce: In preparation for operation number 5 a few month later, I had to go into the radiology department and have an upper G.I. They made me drink this nasty stuff, and they measured it from the bottom of my esophagus, checking my small intestine. She gets done with it and I hear here going “Hmm.” They said the procedure was going to take a certain amount of time. After that time, she leaves then comes back with a supervisor. They redo the test and I hear them whispering and saying “mistake.” That’s the last thing you want to hear a doctor say is “mistake.” So finally I asked, and he said “No, it’s good. In your records, it shows you have less than 100 centimeters of small intestine, but we’ve just done the test twice and you have way over 200 centimeters. You have over 6 feet.”

Sid: How’d they explain that? Was it a bad doctor?

Bruce: Well, considering the doctor is the head of the biggest trauma center in our state, and he’s chief resident surgeon, I don’t think it’s a bad doctor.

Sid: You have those records inside there. What could a skeptic say?
Is it possible for the small intestine to grow that much?

Bruce: It does not grow. Once you’re an adult, your small intestine does not grow. And we’ve got doctor proof: “before” and “after” lengths.

Sid: You know what excites me so much? Remember gifts of the Spirit that God has given Bruce? They are transferable. Everyone who knows the Messiah has these gifts. Bruce put together his entire documented story, plus a workbook on the most important thing next to being born from above, and that is hearing God’s voice so that you can be obedient, so you can fulfill your destiny in life. You told me that you had a vision of your new book, called “Saved By Angels.” What was happening in that vision?

Bruce: It was actually right before the book came out. My contact at the publisher, we were talking one day on the phone, and she was telling me about your show. She said “Sid Roth…” I was asking ways to market the book to get the message out, because I think it’s a really important message that people get to have a relationship with Jesus. Not religion, but relationship, and how different that is. So we’re talking about that, and I’m excited and want to get this message to as many people as I can. She said “I think a great place would be Sid Roth’s ministry.” I hadn’t heard your name, so I wrote it down. She continues, then it turns into a word. She says “God is saying that He’s going to take care of it”, because I said “How do I get a hold of him? What do I do to get on his show?” She ends by saying “I think God is just saying that He’s going to take care of this.” Fast forward a couple of months. This man calls me to have some air conditioning work done on his vehicle. I hadn’t talked to him since before my accident. I said “I don’t do that work anymore, because I’ve gone into full time ministry now.” He said “Oh, you know what? I just remembered, a couple of weeks ago at my home church” (he’s from another town) “some old family friends of my wife and I, Chuck and Mary Volm, came to visit. I was telling them your story about the angels and how you’re the only person who’s ever lived from this injury, and Chuck said ‘Oh, that’s exactly what our ministry specializes in. It’s Sid Roth’s ministry.’” He had never heard of you either, because we’re kind of isolated in the midwest, so he said to me “I’ll get you his number.” So he hangs up, calls back, gives me Chuck’s number who got me through to Joyce, and that’s how I got on the show. God gave me a word from this contact to get on this show. After I call her back, we had a great talk and I told her what happened. I get off the phone and praise the Lord. Now the book is being printed at the printer. As I’m praying and praising the Lord,
I see a vision of the books coming off the printing press, and every book is being touched by the Holy Spirit and physically anointed.

Sid: I have to tell you, when I read this book, I felt the presence of God. That’s what got me so excited about meeting you and interviewing you. Tell me this vision again. What was Jesus doing?

Bruce: It was the Holy Spirit in my vision. As each book was coming off the printing press, it was being touched and there was a physical anointing being put on the book so that when people got it in their hands, they wouldn’t want to put it down. Many people have said once they pick up the book, they don’t want to quit reading it. It just gets them and they get into it. People have said they go to work at night and end up staying up so they can finish the book.

Sid: You know why? Because someone can learn how God speaks.
God speaks to everyone, but we miss it so much. Tell me about words of knowledge.

Bruce: A great example I use in the book is this. We’ve got this little red guy on one shoulder, and we’ve also got the old cartoon angel on the other shoulder. In the middle is us. The Bible tells us that’s spiritual life. We’ve got angels and demons around us. A word of knowledge is listening to the right voice. It’s listening to the Holy Spirit speak inside you. An example. The day I flew here, yesterday, in the morning I got a call from a man in a hospital. He’d been in the hospital for a month, and he wanted some prayer. As I’m on the phone with him, the Lord said “Tell him you’ll call back in 15 minutes.” So I got his phone number and hung up. I said “Ok Lord, now what?” I started praying and going before Him. He led me to some verses.
Now I did not have these verse memorized, didn’t even know they were there.

The Lord led me to Psalm 41 or 42. At the beginning it says “He who has regard for the weak will be taken care of”, or along those lines. I’m paraphrasing, because I don’t know the exact words. Then it goes on to say “He will be sustained on his sickbed and recovered from his illness.” So the Lord tells me “Call him back and ask him if he has regard for the weak. He does, but just ask him the question to build his faith.” So I call the man back and said “The Lord is asking “Do you have regard for the weak?’” He said “In my ministry, if someone needs a couch, I’ll give them my couch out of my house. I’ve given my refrigerator away. I’ve given cars away. I’ve given money away, till I have nothing. I’ve given my own food away.” I said “So you think you have regard for the weak?” and he said “Oh yes”, and he starts to weep. I said “The Lord said you do. Open your Bible to such and such.” He opens up the Bible and we get to the point. Now he’s been in the hospital for a month, and the Lord says He’s going to sustain you, and He’s going to restore you. Not only is He going to sustain you through this long-term illness, but He’s going to restore you as well.

Sid: You had a series of dreams in which your wife was being unfaithful to you. How many dreams did you have like that?

Bruce: It was over 10 years, so I don’t know exactly, but probably over 300.

Sid: Ok. He has these dreams, and he knows his wife is faithful, but they’re so real he doesn’t know what to do with it. Because of time, God gave you an interpretation of the dream. Very quickly, what was it?

Bruce: The last dream I had, I repeat to my wife in this dream, as I wake up, she’s laying there sleeping next to me on the bed, and I repeat to her, why don’t you understand how much I love you, which was the last thing I said in my dream, and the Lord speaks to me and says why don’t you understand how much I love you? I said I don’t understand. What do you mean Lord? We went back and forth a couple of times, and again He says it, so it ends up
he said “Bruce, every time you do drugs, drink, anything that you do, go after money, motorcycle racing, anything I was involved in to get peace, joy, security, fulfill the hole that’s in my heart, he said anytime you do any of that stuff you’re cheating on me. Not only are you cheating on me, you’re doing it in full sight of me, because ever since I was little since I was hugged, God has been as real to me as my hands, so I knew God, every time I did this stuff, God didn’t want me to do it, and I was for a long time I was walking one foot in the world and one foot in God’s world.

Sid: And God still loved you. But let me tell you, God is too good. Stop the drugs. Stop the pornography. Stop the adultery. Stop anything that is filling that void, and fill it with God. Fill it with Jesus. He’s real. He loves you. He’s calling you.

He wants to hug you.

Sid: Hello, Sid Roth here with Bruce Van Natta. Bruce had a 10,000 pound truck fall on him. Literally, he thought his body had been guillotined in half. What happened is, he was crushed. You were crushed almost like a pancake. What happened next?

Bruce: After I was crushed, I looked at myself and from my point of view, it did look like I was cut in half because I couldn’t see half my body through the axle and I could see here where the axle’s laying on the cement. I just called out “God, help me” twice. The mechanic I was working with was quick, and he called 911. They got the truck jacked up. I remember wanting to get out from underneath the truck really bad, because I didn’t like the way it was jacked up again. I was afraid it was going to fall on me again. I reached back and grabbed the front bumper, big chrome front bumper was right behind my head, I grabbed it, pulled myself out to the point where my head was sticking out from underneath the front bumper of this large Peterbuilt, and that’s when I went unconscious. Next thing I know, I’m up in the ceiling of this garage, looking down. Out of body experience.

Sid: I assume there was no feeling? You had no feeling when you’re looking down at yourself.

Bruce: No, it was just like watching a movie.

Sid: Did you know it was you?

Bruce: You know, I can’t honestly say I knew it was me. Not at first. It was just like watching a movie. I saw there was now more people. The volunteer fire department had gotten there, and I was listening to the conversations people were having. This out of body experience was incredible, but the most incredible thing was, I’m looking down at myself, I can see my head sticking out from underneath the front bumper, my eyes were closed, my head was turned to the right side. There’s a picture burned into my memory of that, and on each side of me is an angel. The man I’d been working with was above me. He’s about 6’1” or 6’2”, and I was watching him running his fingers through my hair, and he was crying and patting me on the head.
The heads of these angels stuck up at least this much higher than his.
They were also on their knees, but they had their arms in underneath the truck towards my body. These angels had their hands on me.

Sid: So they were really keeping you alive.

Bruce: Oh, definitely. Definitely keeping me alive.

Sid: What happened next?

Bruce: That scene is burned in my mind. Then they pulled me out from underneath the truck. The angels stayed. I watched from the back corner a red-haired EMT worker I’ve met her now, Shannon – she came in. She got down between those angels, she moved this man out of the way, and she started slapping me in the face and saying “Open your eyes, open your eyes.” I was watching from above, listening to her, watching, and the next thing I knew I was back in my body, looking at her eye to eye.

Sid: When the medical team came, what did they decide to do?

Bruce: They called MedFlight right away, because it was such a bad injury. I was MedFlight-ed to the largest trauma center in our state, Wisconsin.

Sid: You told me that you should’ve bled to death. What do you mean?

Bruce: The doctors told me, because of my injuries, off your heart, your mesenteric artery and mesenteric vein, superior mesenteric artery and superior mesenteric vein, come down and feed the lower half of your body. It was completely severed. Not pinched, not torn, but completely severed. Both of those, in multiple places, plus other veins.

They said with my injuries, I should’ve bled to death in 8 minutes, 10 minutes tops. In fact, we were told by several doctors now that they can find no other cases anywhere, ever, of anybody ever living from those injuries, because they always come in dead on arrival. It’s like having an artery the size of a garden hose cut.

Sid: You told me they were amazed you even lived.

Bruce: Completely, because it was an hour and 40 minutes from the point of the accident until they got me to the hospital. I was in trauma for an hour before I lost all blood pressure and they rushed me into the O.R. I should’ve lost all blood pressure right away, at that 8 minutes. In fact, they put in my medical records that they put in 18 units blood, which is about 8 liters.The body holds about 5 to 6 liters, so they put in more. That just tells you, as they put it in it was just coming out, leaking in my stomach cavity. So it’s a large miracle that I ever even made it to the hospital.

Sid: They had to actually… What happened with your small intestine?

Bruce: That’s miracle number two. My small intestine was damaged so badly, they ended up with a 25 centimeter, or 10 inch, chunk of the ileum, a part of the small intestine, that they were able to save. They found another piece. They cut out three sections and found another piece of small intestine that was 75 centimeters. So between those two pieces, I had roughly 40 inches of small intestine left, or about 3 feet. You or any adult has about 21 or 22 feet, and I only had 3 feet left. So I started losing weight as I was in hospital. I went through five different operations. The fourth operation, another chunk of small intestine that had been damaged, died. A piece of that 75 centimeters died, so now I’m underneath 100 centimeters. I just kept losing weight…

Sid: If you’re under 100 centimeters, is that life-threatening?

Bruce: Yes, eventually. We Googled this, and what we found out from the doctors is, eventually, if you have small bowel syndrome, if it gets down to a certain point, you starve to death. I was fed intravenously also, but they can’t mimic with the intravenously long-term what God does with your stomach.

Sid: So you were in the process of dying.

Bruce: Slowly, gradually. Losing weight, losing weight. This one particular morning, I was in my fourth operation. I’d just come out of the operation. A man in New York named Bruce Carlson, the Lord woke him up this one morning and told him to fly out from New York to me in Wisconsin and pray over me. I’d met him one time. He’s a friend of a friend. I’d met him one time on vacation. But he was obedient to the Lord, came out. He came with a gentleman, a friend from my church drove him down there. One stood on each side of the bed and he prayed over me. He put his palm on my forehead and started praying. He said “Lord, I ask that all the prayers for all the people that have been praying for Bruce be answered right now, today.” I was on prayer chains all over.

Sid: Bruce, hold that thought.because an instant miracle took place.

Sid: This is Sid Roth, and I am so excited because of the presence of God. Literally, His kavowd, His heaviness, that’s what the Hebrew word means, of His glory, of His presence, just erupted in the studio when I was interviewing my friend, Rabbi Jonathan Bernis and David Herzog. There was such an outpouring of God’s Spirit that I wanted to capture it on film and have you see it. Let’s take a look at a little bit more. Come on, young man. What happened to you?

Boy: For two years, my heel’s been hurting. Whenever it hurts, I can’t stand. So today, I put my hand on my heel, and it didn’t hurt anymore.

Boy: And now I can’t stand, because I feel the power of God over me, I can’t stand. I just feel it rushing through me.

Sid: Would you do me a favor? Would you stay right here for one second. Now, who needs a miracle? Raise your hand. One person. One person, raise your hand. Do you need a miracle? This man here, right here. You. Yes, do you need a miracle? Yes or no? Come here. If I’m not being too personal, can you tell me what you need a miracle of?

Man: Prostate cancer.

Sid: Now what I want you to do is put your hand on him and pray in the name of Jesus for the cancer to be gone.

Boy: In the name of Jesus, I tell you that, Devil, you’ve got to get out of him. Cancer, be gone in the name of Jesus!

Boy: Amen.

Sid: You are one blessed man. As you walk back, you’re going to begin to sense the healing anointing of God all over you. Thank Him.

Sid: Thank you so much. Thank you. Would your folks rent you?

Boy: What?

Sid: No, never mind. Ha ha! Anyone else?

Sid: Don’t you dare miss this moment of your visitation. A portal from heaven has opened up. It’s touching you right now in your home. Go for it!

Sid: Come on.

Man: I was in Alaska, and I was watching you on TV, and my back hurt so bad that I couldn’t bend over. You said bend over and touch your feet, and you’ll be healed. I can bend over and touch my feet, and I’m 35 years old now.

Sid: Sid Roth here. It is so wonderful! God showed up, and He’s here right now. He’s healing more people. He’s healing people with neck problems right now, and in the whole head area. Your sinuses are being cleared up. It is so wonderful when God shows up. But when God shows up, you can make your breakthrough. What is your breakthrough? From believing there is a God, to experiencing God. That’s the breakthrough. Someone’s ears were just opened. Just take your hearing aid out and you’ll see. Not only are you hearing in the natural, you’re hearing in the supernatural. Because God says “My sheep hear My voice.” In this world that is shaking, how would you like to be on a firm foundation? How would you like to hear the voice of God? If God is for you, what can be… Economics, health problems, family problems? If God is for you, what could be against you? Nothing can be against you! The first step, God has already taken. Now it’s up to you. Yes, He’s chosen you. Do you want God? Of course you do. Say this prayer with me, and believe it. It’s a start. It’s putting your little toes in the water. But come on now, you’ll never learn how to swim unless you put your little toes in the water. And the water is good. It really is good! Repeat this prayer with me. “Dear God…” Come on now, out loud. “Dear God, I’m a sinner. Against You and You alone have I sinned. And I’m so sorry. With Your help, I’ll turn from these sins. I believe the blood of Jesus has washed away my sins, and I’m clean. And now that I’m clean, I ask Yeshua to live inside of me. Yeshua, I make You Lord of my life.
Amen.”

Woman: My whole body hurt when I got here. My back, my feet everything hurt. When you said there was an atmospheric anointing, I claimed it and put my hand on my back, my feet, and my knees. So I think that I got an overhaul tonight, and I’m claiming it, and I’m believing God…

Sid: But let me ask you something. Do you have pain where you had pain before?

Woman: No, I don’t.

Sid: All the pain is gone?

Woman: Yes. My back, my knees…

Sid: Ok, I’m from Missouri. Not really, but can you bend over?
I can’t tell a lie.

Sid: How do you feel?

Woman: I feel great. I was very tired, and I was hurting all over, especially standing in line there for 20 minutes, waiting.

Sid: Yeah, but God honored your faith.

Woman: Yes He did!

Sid: It’s still going on. Anyone else? Now you at home – test yourself.
This is for you as much as them.There’s some more people that are healed. I will describe you. You had a pain in your back. If you will test your back right now, you will see the pain is gone. It’s so strong in the head area, anything you need in the head area, you’re being healed of right now. Anything you need in your head area. Anything. Anything. Ok, do we have anyone else?

Woman: The first time I came here for Jonathan Bernis, I fell down the stairs, because I really couldn’t go up and down them too well. I just walked down that step. Ordinarily I wouldn’t be able to get down that. I had some help. I know I’m getting healed.

Sid: I believe you are too. Bill, would you come here for a second. Look at me. Just close your eyes for a moment. Come, Holy Spirit. Come. Come, Holy Spirit. Come, Holy Spirit. Gentle Holy Spirit, come. Raise your hands to God. Thank You, Father.

Woman: Thank you, Jesus.

Sid: Thank You, Father. Bless You, Lord, bless You, Lord. Don’t even pray, just receive what God has for you. A time to give, and a time to receive. Back, be restored in Yeshua’s name. HO!!! Test it.

Woman: It’s better.

Sid: Well, turn around, do it again. What’s going on? Tell me. Do you feel… You have to be honest. Do you feel pain at all?

Woman: Not really.

Sid: Not really. Do you feel pain at all?

Woman: Right here still, a little bit. But I had continuous, constant pain for 25 years.

Sid: 25 years? So what’s going on right now?

Woman: Well I feel like I’m getting healed.

Sid: On a scale of 1 to 10, if you had 10, what do you have now?

Woman: Almost a 1.

Sid: Ok. I believe as you walk back to your seat, you will be totally pain-free.

Woman: That’s what I came here for.

Sid: I know. She knows what I said too.
